Dan was one of the initiators in establishing the Danish Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (DVCA) in March 2000. He serves as advisory board member of the Copenhagen Centre for Commercial Law (CCCL), University of Copenhagen.

Dan is a founder of Moalem Weitemeyer and the Firm’s chairman. He also heads the Corporate M&A practice. Dan engages in public and private M&A, private equity and venture capital, capital markets transactions and transactions with real estate.

Dan is recognized as one of the most experienced M&A lawyers in Europe. In the past 10 years, he ranks as the number one lawyer in the Mergermarket Individuals League Tables for Denmark as well as the Nordics in terms of deal volume.
