Position
As an M&A and private equity lawyer with expertise in business and corporate law, Robert Schindler advises groups, holding companies and their portfolio companies on corporate sales and acquisitions, with regard to both majority and minority interests.
In addition to providing ongoing corporate law advice, Robert Schindler is also a knowledgeable transaction advisor with a particular focus on leveraged buy-outs/management buy-outs, joint ventures and restructurings. He further specialises in drafting shareholder and investment agreements, which are crucial to ensuring the success of an investment.
Career
Robert Schindler studied law at the Universities of Göttingen and Münster (both Germany). After carrying out his legal training in Berlin (Germany), part of which involved working in the corporate/M&A department of the international law firm Dentons in Berlin and Shanghai (China), he was admitted to the German Bar in 2016. Robert Schindler initially worked at Bryan Cave and at GÖRG in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) before joining Luther’s Essen office as a lawyer in 2025.
