Position

Krzysztof Riedl leads the firm’s civil and administrative procedure practice group. He specializes in civil law, privacy law, and constitutional law. He advises and represents Polish and international clients in litigation, arbitration and administrative proceedings. He handles matters involving data protection, including GDPR implementation and GDPR compliance audits.

Career

Krzysztof began working with Łaszczuk & Partners in 2015 and became a partner in the firm in 2021. He is an attorney-at-law and a member of the Warsaw Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law. In 2017, he was the youngest winner of the 6th edition of the Rising Stars Lawyers – Leaders of Tomorrow.

Education

Krzysztof graduated the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw with an excellent result (summa cum laude), and then, at the same Faculty, he defended with distinction a PhD dissertation from the field of the civil law (he is presently waiting for being conferred a doctoral degree). He also studied at the University of Munich (LMU) under the Erasmus+ programme. He teaches civil law classes for students of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. Scholarship recipient of the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg and the Polish National Science Centre. He has been on scientific trips to i.a. universities in Munich, Berlin, Hamburg and Oxford. Author of numerous scientific publications from the field of civil and constitutional law. In 2018-2019 he was the research fellow at the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences in the RE-Jus project.
