The firm: In 1977 Dr Michael Maikowski founded his patent attorney firm in the former West Berlin. Detlef Ninnemann, who had his own firm in Bremen, joined Dr Maikowski in 1989 to form a joint patent attorney firm – Maikowski & Ninnemann.
Dr Gunnar Baumgärtel, Prof Dr Felix Gross, Dr Christoph Schröder, Dr Fabian Sokolowski, Ralf Emig and Andreas Tanner joined as partners in 1998, 2000, 2010, 2012 and 2016 respectively. Dr Frederick Kramer joined the partnership in 2021. Currently, 18 patent attorneys and European patent attorneys work at Maikowski & Ninnemann.
