Career

Sasha joined the Court of Protection Team at Anthony Gold Solicitors LLP in June 2022. Sasha has significant experience in mental health law and health and welfare proceedings in the Court of Protection.

She has extensive experience of representing clients before the First-tier Tribunal (Mental Health) and is an accredited member of the Law Society’s Mental Health Panel.

She has previously been instructed by the Official Solicitor and the Irish General Solicitor to act on behalf of those who lack capacity to appoint their own legal representatives, and has developed a niche specialism in representing those who are deaf and suffer from complex mental health diagnoses.

Sasha’s current case load consists of a mixture of contentious and non-contentious Court of Protection matters.

Sasha works closely with Professional Deputies Alexandra Knipe and David Wedgwood in relation to the management of high value compensation awards for those who have suffered complex injuries within the context of ongoing litigation claims.

Sasha also continues to welcome instructions in relation to contentious proceedings concerning both health and welfare and property and finances disputes in the Court of Protection.

Sasha’s previous experience in mental health law lends itself to a sensitive and empathetic approach.

She is skilled in building long-term relationships in the most challenging of circumstances and strives to place the needs of the vulnerable individuals she works with at the centre of her practice.
