Folake advises local and foreign clients on financing, recapitalization, debt restructuring, project and general corporate finance.

She has significant experience advising on the financing and acquisition of power assets, infrastructure projects and capital market transactions. She also has experience representing clients in commercial disputes and arbitration.

Folake’s extensive work with development finance institutions earned her a fellowship at the International Finance Corporation.

She has extensive experience across a broad spectrum of finance work including lending transactions, recapitalization, debt restructuring and general corporate finance. Her expertise is in the fields of power asset finance, infrastructure projects, and capital market transactions. She has over the last 15 years successfully led numerous landmark corporate finance transactions which has gained her the trust and confidence of her clients.

Folake’s recent highlights include:

  • Advising Dangote Cement Plc on its NGN 300 Billion Multi Instrument Issuance Programme establishment and the issuance of its of its’ Series 1 Tranche A and B Senior Unsecured Bonds under the Programme.
  • Acted as Solicitors to the Issuer in relation to the proposed equity capital raise exercise by FCMB Group Plc of up to ₦150,000,000,000 (One Hundred and Fifty Billion Naira) through a public offer.
