Career

Mattia Dalla Costa has been a partner of CBA since 2009 and previously worked in prestigious law firms.

Mattia’s practice focuses on contractual advice and international litigation in the areas of intellectual property (licensing, technology transfer, R&D and JD agreements, know-how and trade secrets, patents, trademarks, designs, copyright), information technology (software, databases, AI, IoT, blockchain), unfair competition, corporate, M&A and international trade for technology companies operating in Italy and in foreign markets, in particular in the fashion, automotive, aerospace and defence sectors. He is recognised by the international legal guides Chambers and Partners (in both European and global rankings), Legal 500, Best Lawyers and Who’s Who Legal, which identify him as a recommended lawyer in IP. He has also won two prestigious national awards at the Legalcommunity IP Awards as Lawyer of the Year for Copyright Law 2024 and Lawyer of the Year for Civil Litigation 2023.
