With a leading role in the governance, funding and corporate team, Peter is am a nationally recognised adviser in social housing. Drawing on his knowledge and strategic thinking, Peter advises housing associations, local authorities and other social housing organisations on leadership matters, corporate governance, business development and regulatory issues, as well as supporting major projects.
Peter led the firm’s work for the National Housing Federation in 2022 on the voluntary 7% rent cap for shared ownership leases and authored a specialist briefing note for social housing landlords on damp, mould and condensation issues. His expertise has also informed the development of sector-specific compliance tools for Boards in the social housing sector.
Ranked as a Band 1 lawyer in Chambers and Partners 2024, Peter is also recognised as a Leading Individual in the Legal 500 and listed in The Best Lawyers in the United Kingdom 2024 edition.
