Work Department

Corporate, Real Estate

Position

I’m a corporate lawyer with over 20 years’ experience, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investment, reorganisations and corporate governance.

My practice has had a focus on indirect and structured real estate work from early on in my career and I have advised on numerous corporate property acquisitions and disposals, property unit trusts and property joint ventures (many of which have had a cross border dimension). I also have significant experience in advising clients in the media and technology, hotels, leisure and retail, recruitment, engineering and mining sectors.

I love working as a team with my colleagues and clients. Whilst I can be a bit of nerd and relish a technical legal challenge, I’m definitely not one for arguing for argument’s sake and moving things forward and getting deals done gives me the greatest satisfaction in my job.

I’ve been recommended by Legal 500 UK, specifically for my strength in corporate real estate, and I am an “Acritas Star – independently rated lawyer”.

I enjoy taking a role in the management of the firm and the development of our people. I am Fladgate’s Money Laundering Reporting Officer, a member of the Fladgate Corporate Group Operational Board and head up the Corporate Group’s Know-how and Education function.

Recommended by Legal 500, specifically for strength in corporate real estate.
