Daniel is one of the lead partners in the Fieldfisher arbitration practice.  Daniel is a noted arbitration practitioner and has consistently acted in high value international commercial arbitrations over the last 13 years.  He is currently lead partner on the massive South Sudan matter referred to below. Daniel is a Russian speaker, founding member of international arbitration practitioner group the Russian and CIS Arbitration Network (RCAN) and as a result has significant experience acting in major arbitrations  linked with the Russia/CIS region. He has been described as ‘one of the most prominent upcoming stars [in the London based international arbitration market].

Involved in the biggest civil fraud disputes to come before the courts in recent times’, Fieldfisher has notable experience in cryptocurrency and non-fungible token-related fraud claims. The London practice also fields experts in cyber-fraud claims involving unknown persons, as well as insolvency-related fraud matters, and much of the group’s work focuses on mandates and clients that have links to Ukraine, Russia and the CIS.
