Jayne has extensive experience in large investment sales and purchases (single properties and portfolios) various structures for indirect investment in property and all aspects of non-contentious landlord and tenant work. She has acted on a number of sales and lease backs and also have experience of site assembly and re-development with particular expertise in rights of light issues.
Jayne acts for a major institutional investor and a number of charities and also for corporate occupiers acquiring new accommodation, re-negotiating terms of existing occupations and assisting tenants in managing their exit on breaks or surrenders.
Jayne has also acted on a number of substantial residential transactions both in London and in the country, including the sale of a stately home and estate.
Jayne has written articles and spoken on a wide variety of topics from overage and rights of light to lease renewals under the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954 and landlord and tenant insolvency.
Memberships
Jayne is a member of the Investment Property Forum and on the City of London Law Society Land Law Committee (CLLS) and was part of the sub-committee reviewing the CLLS form of certificate of title.
