Jan Kromhout is a partner and board member at AKD. Jan’s clients include shipowners, shipbuilders, oil companies, oil and gas contractors, financiers and insurers. He advises them in every project phase, for example with regard to corporate structures, contract negotiations, delivery, installation and decommissioning.
Jan is also a specialist in the field of dry shipping. He handles cases relating to contracts of affreightment, bills of lading and other carriage contracts. Jan also advises owners and shipyards on all aspects of building, buying and selling a super yacht.
