Career

Rodolphe Gautier heads the Dispute Resolution practice of Geneva. He has almost 20 years of experience working in litigation and arbitration. His practice focuses on commercial and banking disputes in Switzerland and international arbitration involving Swiss-connected parties, assets, substantive law or seats of arbitration. He frequently acts for multinationals, domestic companies and individuals before civil and criminal courts and arbitral tribunals. His practice also includes applications for pre-emptive relief to locate and freeze assets and preserve evidence.

Additionally, Rodolphe Gautier handles white collar crime proceedings, often assisting corporations and executives in criminal prosecutions and international mutual assistance. He provides strategic and tactical advice in pre-litigation phases. He also acts as external counsel to multinationals and financial services providers in international investigations, compliance audits and reporting of suspicious transactions to the Money Laundering Reporting Office (MROS). He assists clients in their investigations of potential money laundering activities, notably in Art and in Sport.

He spent part of his traineeship with the Geneva Civil Courts and in a well-known Geneva law firm. Prior to joining Walder Wyss, he worked in Geneva (and Singapore as foreign associate) in an international law firm of which he became a partner in 2009.
