Jonathan has practiced exclusively in the field of employment law for almost 30 years. During this period he has been a partner of one of the UK’s leading law firms and has acted for major businesses across a full range of employment issues.

 

Jonathan is particularly well known for his experience in advising on redundancy programmes, negotiating executive severance agreements on behalf of companies and advising on TUPE issues arising on business acquisitions and outsourcing programmes.

He also heads the Business Immigration sub team which advises businesses on the recruitment of highly skilled non-EEA employees to work in the UK.

 

Jonathan has a longstanding interest in German language and culture and attained a distinction in a three year German language course with Open University. He is currently studying with York University under the Languages for All Programme and attained a distinction in his recent Level 4 exams. He intends to go on to study Level 5 being the highest level attainable.
