Career

Giorgio is a qualified Italian lawyer with around 20 years of professional experience in M&A and private equity. He joined Deloitte Legal as Partner in early 2018 and heads the Corporate and M&A practice of the Firm.

Giorgio specializes in cross border corporate, commercial and real estate transactions and in particular advises US and UK clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and joint ventures, particularly in regulated sectors.

He also has considerable experience in distressed deals and notably in the management of M&A tenders for the disposal of distressed businesses on behalf of the Italian Ministry of the Economic Development.

Before joining Deloitte Legal, Giorgio worked at Simmons & Simmons specializing in M&A in regulated sectors.

Education

Giorgio graduated from Milan State University with a thesis on private equity and venture capital contracts.
