Career

Filippo joined Deloitte Legal in 2022 as Head of Energy Projects.

Filippo Manaresi has extensive Italian and international experience in the energy, oil & gas, and infrastructure sectors, as well as in commodities trading (e.g., oil, gas, LNG, coal, metals) and e-mobility.

Filippo advises some of the leading Italian and foreign companies in these sectors, as well as banks and financial institutions, in relation to contractual and commercial profiles, with focus in M&A and project financing transactions. He has also acquired significant experience in stock financing transactions involving various types of commodities assisting both Italian and foreign financial institutions.

Education

Graduated in Law, cum laude, from the University “Alma Mater Studiorum” of Bologna, with a thesis on the corporate profiles of Project Financing, he attended courses in international business law at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam and attended a postgraduate course at the Academy of American and International Law, University of Dallas, Texas (USA).

He is a member of the Bologna Bar Association.
