Position

Pietro Sansonetti is Of Counsel in our Taxation Group in Geneva after having been a partner from 1999 until 2024. He has developed a strong practice on complex tax matters, both domestic and international.

Experience:

  • He has in-depth knowledge of complex tax situations and extensive experience in dealing with tax authorities and enforcement matters including customs matters and international exchange of information.
  • He is active in corporate matters, in particular reorganizations such as mergers and real estate transactions. He advises international official and  non-governmental organizations as well as non-profit entities, as well as pension funds
  • He also works with individuals on family businesses, on partnership and private clients-related tax matters such as trusts and inheritance related issues as well as on tax litigation.
