Jerome is an Associate in Hassans’ Financial Services Department and forms part of the firm’s FinTech and Funds Team. Jerome specialises in corporate matters and advises clients in the cryptocurrency, blockchain, e-money and payments sectors. With a track record of advising on a multitude of token issuers, market makers, crypto foundations and licence applications for distributed ledger technology (DLT) projects, his extensive experience in these domains is evident.

In addition, Jerome has gained valuable experience in both private and experienced investor funds, underscoring his versatility and comprehensive understanding of the financial services landscape. Jerome also regularly advises on critical matters related to data protection, intellectual property, AML/CFT compliance and cybersecurity. His well-rounded knowledge and proactive approach make him a go-to resource for clients seeking comprehensive legal advice in these increasingly important areas.

Jerome graduated from the Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Business & Marketing (dual major), before completing a Graduated Diploma in Law at the University of Law. He has completed the Bar Training Course at the Manchester Metropolitan University. Jerome is a member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple and was admitted to the Bar of England & Wales in November 2021. In March 2023, he was subsequently called to the Gibraltar Bar.
