Career
Herman leads Houthoff’s Real Estate practice group and advises on a wide range of real estate transactions (share deals and asset deals), real estate financings, and area (including inner city) and project development. He also advises on the set-up of development and investment structures. Moreover, Herman advises on property law structuring (apartment complexes, ground lease contracts, building rights) of real estate developments and projects. His clients are international investors and large Dutch investors and project developers.
Herman also gives advice on setting up investment vehicles and joint ventures, with a special focus on the international market and the most challenging, complex and high-profile matters, such as transactions and projects involving multiple jurisdictions. Herman is a member of the Dutch Association of Real Estate Lawyers and the Dutch Commercial Law Association.
