Giorgio Balza specializes in tax consultancy and corporate law. He advises national and international companies from the fishing, finance, services and agricultural sectors, as well as advising on the Amazon regime.
He also advises on business group restructuring, M&A, financial transactions (particularly tax structures and the treatment of investments through investment funds and trusts), and on judicial review and auditing proceedings before the tax authorities.
Before joining Cuatrecasas, he was head of tax and legal consultancy at PwC in Peru.
He is a member of the Lima Bar Association and of the Peruvian Institute of Tax Law.
