Rania Kassis advises Danish and non-Danish enterprises in the energy sector.
For many years, Rania has specialised in energy and climate law. Rania advises on regulatory and contractual issues relating to renewable energy projects as well as offshore energy infrastructure, including wind turbines and oil and gas activities.
Rania has particular knowledge of the development, installation and transfer of solar PV systems. She has, among other things, assisted with the handling of permits and authorisations from public authorities, grid connection, the notification of neighbours scheme laid down in the Promotion of Renewable Energy Act, and other regulatory issues.
Rania has also rendered advice on several commercial contracts in the energy sector, such as power purchase agreements (PPAs).
Rania’s specialist knowledge and special market insight are valuable factors when, for example, advising on new renewable energy initiatives. Rania has, for example, rendered advice on several technologically pioneering projects, including carbon capture and storage projects.
