Position
Partner. Riksfjord acts as legal advisor and counsel for clients in disputes involving numerous industries, including banking, financial services, private equity and venture capital, real estate, retail, shipping, insurance, energy, fisheries and aquaculture. He also represents and counsel management, directors, accountants and lawyers in professional liability matters.
Riksfjord has a particular focus on commercial disputes, typically arising out of debt and equity investments, financing agreements, acquisition agreements, shareholder agreements, contracts and other significant agreements or arrangements. He also specializes in cases involving trade secrets, financial instruments, digital currencies, valuations and other economic issues, as well as employment law.
In addition to this, Riksfjord is an expert on provisional measures, including preliminary injunctions, seizures and securing of evidence – especially in complex international matters. Furthermore, he has comprehensive experience with international rules of jurisdiction and cross-border debt enforcement. Riksfjord is known for his clear and coherent advice. He follows his clients closely and is always available.
