Legal 500 is proud to announce that the Northern Powerhouse Awards will be returning for its fourth edition at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds on 12 March 2026.

The awards shine a spotlight on the top law firms, lawyers and in-house legal departments across the region, recognising the exceptional work done in the past 18 months across a varied spectrum of practice areas, as well as highlighting firm efforts in marketing, ESG, and diversity, inclusion and equality, among others.

The nominations and winners are selected based on Legal 500’s market-leading, independent research, drawing from Legal 500 UK 2026 research spanning the North, North West and Yorkshire rankings published in October 2025. The winners are selected by a judging team led by Legal 500 UK regions editor Amy Ulliott, UK regions deputy editor Edgar Tate, and senior research editor Allan Cohen, supported by the research team, which produces the UK guide every year.
