Deloitte leaders strive to achieve gender balance across the Deloitte organization. Deloitte has developed consistent initiatives spanning the entire career lifecycle\u2014from recruitment, promotion\u00a0<\/span>and succession\u00a0<\/span>to mentoring, sponsorship and agile working.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Deloitte\u2019s focus on gender equality does not end with our own organization. Through several of its\u00a0<\/span>WorldClass<\/span>\u00a0societal impact projects, Deloitte aims to positively\u00a0<\/span>impact<\/span>\u00a0the lives of women and girls outside our organization. Stories of Deloitte\u2019s work around the world comprised Deloitte\u00a0<\/span>Global\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>first\u00a0<\/span>ever<\/span>\u00a0Global<\/span>\u00a0Gender Impact Report. LGBT+ inclusion\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Deloitte has endorsed the UN\u2019s Standards of Conduct for Business in Tackling Discrimination against LGBTI people and is taking actions to further LGBT+ inclusion aligned with core areas of these standards. This includes a focus on \u201c<\/span>allyship<\/span>,\u201d reverse mentoring and ensuring that Deloitte professionals are enabled to \u201cwalk in the shoes\u201d of LGBT+ colleagues. Deloitte is proud to be a member of the Partnership for Global LGBTI Equality.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Supporting mental health\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Deloitte believes that supporting mental health is a critical aspect of inclusion.\u00a0<\/span>We recognize<\/span>\u00a0the importance of Deloitte people knowing where and how to seek support when they are experiencing mental health challenges, and being\u00a0<\/span>comfortable<\/span>\u00a0they can raise such concerns without fear of stigma. Deloitte Global<\/span>\u00a0has<\/span>\u00a0roll<\/span>ed<\/span>\u00a0out a series of\u00a0<\/span>podcasts focusing on ways in which people can\u00a0<\/span>look after their mental health (<\/span>common challenges faced during periods where people may be feeling especially worr<\/span>ied, isolated or overwhelmed<\/span>)<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>Deloitte is proud to be a founding member of the Global Business Initiative\u00a0<\/span>aimed to<\/span>\u00a0both advocate for and accelerate positive change for mental health in the workplace.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
