What has been your greatest achievement, in a professional and personal capability?

Leading the firm in progressive growth from a team of 4 lawyers to a strength of 110 lawyers who advise clients in major domestic and cross-border matters has been the fulfillment of my dream. We have achieved the position of a leading law firm in Thailand by identifying shared goals and shared values and following the right strategies.

What do you do differently from your peers in the industry?

I provide strategic advice and signature services as a trusted advisor to my clients. As a firm, we excel because we have in-depth knowledge and understanding of a client’s business, and therefore provide commercial and solution-oriented advice. We step into the shoes of the client to see things from their perspective.

We try hard to build the success of the team, rather than individual successes.

We also have a strong firm culture – a pro-collegial atmosphere amongst service-minded and trustworthy team players who have enthusiasm, a passion for excellence, and ultra-high levels of commitment.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Love what you do. Set goals, be focused and determined, and you will meet them.

Embrace technology.

Be yourself.

Can you give me a practical example of how you helped a client add value to the business?

This is the basis of our practice, so we strive to add value in all transactions. We act in partnership with clients to successfully and strategically navigate the life cycle of a business, from establishing a company, to solving disputes, to completing some of the most significant transactions in Southeast Asia.

Within your sector, what do you think will be the biggest challenge for clients over the next 12 months?

Economic disruptions will probably be severe in many industries in the coming year, so we will be assisting clients in continuing to do business despite economic challenges.

In Thailand, the new rules on anti-trust compliance that have recently come into force might present another challenge, and we are advising clients on their potential impact on their businesses.
