Green Guide Profile: Atsumi & Sakai

Full-service firm Atsumi & Sakai in Japan is highly active in green financing and projects, and climate and sustainability-related matters. The firm’s projects and energy team consists of energy, resources, and infrastructure experts who have experience advising clients on solar, wind, biomass, and geothermal renewable energy projects, as well as recycling projects, including those concerning waste and water disposal. Recent work has also included an EV-related matter and a mandate surrounding smart metres.

Heading the team is Miho Niunoya, who is a member of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s Committee on Appropriate Introduction and Management of Renewable Energy Generation Facilities.
