It is a really happy place to work\u2019, \u2018the people make the firm, everyone is really friendly and approachable and there is a real culture of learning from one another\u2019, \u2018you are not merely a number. You feel noticed and that you make a positive contribution to whichever team you are sat with\u2019<\/p>\n<p><strong>Worst thing about the firm?<\/strong> \u2018Probably the diversity at partner level\u2019, \u2018the choice of seats is sometimes limited and you will be made to do double seats if this correlates with business need, you can also be asked to move out of seats early\u2019, \u2018pay could be better\u2019<\/p>\n<p><strong>Best moment?<\/strong> \u2018Taking the lead on a big task and being trusted with the responsibility\u2019, \u2018being involved in a number of high profile nationally important healthcare cases which have been really interesting and feel fortunate to have been given the opportunity to get involved at a junior level\u2019, \u2018attending a case in the High Court in London with senior and junior counsel\u2019<\/p>\n<p><strong>Worst moment?<\/strong> \u2018Balancing study and work\u2019, \u2018sitting in teams that put less of an emphasis on training\u2019, \u2018finishing work very very late\u2019, \u2018long hours bundling\u2019, \u2018lack of support during a seat\u2019, \u2018studying the SQE at the same time\u2019, \u2018pressures of the SQE\u2019<\/p>\n<\/p>\n                \n               \n      <h2 class=\"tab-listing\" id=\"verdict\">The Lex 100 verdict on <span class=\"highlight-firm\">Hill Dickinson LLP<\/span><\/h2>\n       \n        \n      \n             \n        <p>    \n\t<p>Trainees at Hill Dickinson are drawn to the firm\u2019s \u201cfriendliness, values, and tailored training contract,\u201d with many highlighting the unique healthcare-specific programme, including secondments to NHS Trusts. One trainee said they were attracted to the \u201cinclusive, caring culture and the chance to learn from those with high-level expertise,\u201d while others emphasised that the firm \u201creally cares about development\u201d and offers meaningful exposure across key sectors. The training experience compares favourably with other firms, particularly for those in healthcare, who report \u201ca better work-life balance and more flexible working practices.\u201d Trainees consistently stress the accessibility of partners and the \u201chigh-quality work\u201d.
