With a mixture of prominent property silks and juniors, Selborne Chambers features considerable experience in real property and landlord and tenant disputes, as well as more specialist areas such as breach of covenant, rights of light and adverse possession matters. Nicholas Trompeter KC represented the landlord in London Trocadero (2015) LLP v Picturehouse Cinemas Ltd, an ongoing matter which reached the Court of Appeal on one point, concerning if a cinema operator was liable for rent payments during periods when the premises were closed due to COVID-19 restrictions. Professional negligence is covered in all these fields, working with solicitors, valuers, accountants, professional trustees, and financial managers and advisors.
