Position

Eve specialises solely in family cases for private clients. Her experience in the areas of matrimonial finance, TOLATA, Children Act and domestic violence applications means that she is often instructed to assist one client through a number of proceedings; providing confidence and consistency.

Her clients appreciate her straightforward and intelligent approach and she has a reputation for being well received by those clients who need robust advice and firm assistance in navigating through the court process. Eve is also able to handle vulnerable clients with sensitivity, compassion and well thought through advice. Solicitors regularly instruct Eve as they are confident that their clients will feel that they have been listened to and their case has been furthered as vigorously as possible.

Her criminal law experience makes her a particularly effective cross examiner and her advocacy is a key strength. Eve’s previous public law practice also makes her a very useful source of knowledge when the Local Authority become involved in private law proceedings. Eve is a particularly skilful negotiator and has been regularly instructed, to great effect, in matters that have been considered intractable, often against particularly difficult opponents and LIPs.
