Position

Michael’s career at the Bar has involved a number of high profile criminal cases, which include defending in major trials involving murder, kidnap and fraud.

Michael has been instructed in hundreds of Judicial Review claims, some of which have been reported, appearing many times in both the High Court and Court of Appeal.

Michael has acted for clients in Planning appeals at Inspector level, injunctions and statutory appeals in the High Court.

He has appeared in the Tax Tribunal, both First and Upper Tier, with an important case as to whether Colleges should be exempt from VAT being reported.
