Civil
Miss Cracknell practices across all areas of Civil Litigation, particularly within Personal Injury, and is regularly instructed by both Claimants and Defendants in interim applications, disposals and trials in cases allocated to any of the three case management tracks.

Miss Cracknell accepts instructions to draft pleading, advices on quantum and/or liability and aims to return all instructions within seven days.

Crime
Miss Cracknell is a Level 1 Crown Prosecutor and regularly acts for both Prosecution and Defence in applications, mentions, POCA applications, appeals, sentences and trials in both the Magistrates’ and Crown Court.

Family
Miss Cracknell accepts instructions on behalf of local authorities, parents and guardians and is experienced in children Emergency Protection Orders, care, supervision, adoption and placement applications.

Private Law Children Act proceedings including residence, contact, prohibited steps and specific issue applications, non molestation orders and occupation orders.

Miss Cracknell has been instructed as junior counsel for a  Local Authority in a three week finding of fact hearing regarding allegations of sexual abuse both recent and historical. She is familiar with ABE codes of practice and their applicaiton.

Career

Miss Cracknell was called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple on 27th November 2014 following her successful completion of the Bar Professional Training Course at Manchester Metropolitan University, having made the Dean’s List for finishing as the top ranking student for Family in her year.
