Position

Broad traditional chancery practice, split reasonably evenly between contentious and non-contentious, with a particular emphasis on estates and family provision, trusts and equitable claims, Court of Protection, personal and trusts taxation, and professional negligence. Regularly appears in County and High Courts. Recent cases include: Roberts v Fresco [2017] EWHC 283 (Ch), Randall v Randall [2014] EWHC 3134 (Ch), [2016] EWCA Civ 494; Harris v Earwicker [2015] EWHC 1915 (Ch); Swetenham v Walkley [2014] WTLR 845.

Career

Qualified 2006, Lincoln’s Inn. Publications: contributed to the ‘Offshore Tax Planning Through Trusts’ chapter of 2007-08 edition of ‘Tax Planning – International and Specialist’; co-author of ‘Risk and Negligence in Wills, Estates and Trusts’ (second edition 2014, OUP).
