Nienke specialises in litigation and advice in commercial Chancery matters, including all aspects of corporate and personal insolvency, commercial litigation, company law, corporate fraud, asset recovery and public law. Nienke appears both in the High Court (Queen’s Bench Division (Commercial Court) and Chancery Division) as well as in the County Courts. She has experience working as a junior in substantial trials, including complex and valuable insolvency proceedings and she regularly acts in disputes relating to banking and financial services (acting for both banks and investors) including in relation to the mis-selling of investment products. Her work frequently involves an international or cross-border element, and she advises in relation to both on- and offshore matters (including, but not limited to, the BVI and DIFC).

Nienke advises and acts as a trial advocate on her own, and can also be instructed as part of a team of counsel.
