Set overviews: England and Wales

Manchester multidisciplinary set 9 St John Street has ‘good strength in depth in personal injury work’ and ‘a strong family team, meaning availability of appropriate counsel never is an issue’ as well as criminal, regulatory, and employment expertise. The ‘very responsive and helpful’ clerks are led by the ‘impressive’ Tony Morrissey. Peadar Minstry, who heads the family clerking operation, is ‘proactive and willing to negotiate’, personal injury clerk Joe Gibson is ‘very helpful and pragmatic – it will be sorted out if you leave something with him’, while Julia Lanza and Chris Swann lead the commercial and criminal teams respectively. In recent news, Guy Mathieson has been appointed a circuit judge and employment and personal injury junior David Campion (formerly of Atlantic Chambers) has joined the set. Offices in: Manchester
