Three Raymond Buildings is best known for its work with the Police Federation and the firms of solicitors it instructs. Neil Saunders and Matthew Butt successfully defended four officers in a disciplinary case – heard in public, but with the officers anonymised due to threats of violence – concerning the death of Henry Hicks, who was killed in a moped crash after police officers followed him using flashing lights and sirens; Hicks was found in possession of seven bags of high-strength cannabis after the incident.
