Position
Adam King defends and prosecutes before the Crown Court in trials including fraud, GBH, firearms offences, supply of drugs and arson. He has been instructed as a led junior in several lengthy and complex trials. He has recently returned from the Cayman Islands, where his defence practice included rape, fraud, importation of firearms, attempted murder, drug importation and (as a junior) murder. Quasi-criminal regulatory work includes cases for the Security Industry Authority, the General Dental Council and the Police Federation, as well as hearings before the Tribunal for the Office of Fair Trading and asset forfeiture under the Proceeds of Crime Act. Has also been instructed to advise on the Data Protection Act liability of a company charged with illegally obtaining large amounts of information from the Department of Work and Pensions.
