Rebecca’s criminal practice has particular emphasis on violent and sexual offences, although she appears in many other matters. Rebecca’s appellate practice is expanding and she often appears in the Court of Appeal. is frequently instructed to advise on appeal against conviction and/or sentence. These are usually extremely serious matters, including appeals regarding sexual offences and those of serious violence. Rebecca practises in criminal defence at all levels. She has a particular specialism in advising and acting on appeal against conviction or sentence and has extensive experience in the Court of Appeal. she also regularly represents young defendants and those with mental illness and learning disabilities. Rebecca’s practice also encompasses all aspects of Prison Law, including parole hearings and judicial reviews.
