Position

Simon practices in the field of personal injury law. He appears in a range of disputes covering most of the spectrum of personal injury work. He is recommended in The Legal 500 for this work. His practice is split between work for defendants and claimants. He has particular expertise in industrial disease cases and appears in such cases on a national basis. He is comfortable dealing with high value disputes and cases that involve complex issues of causation and competing medical evidence. In the past year Simon has been involved in a number of cases resulting in six-figure settlements as well as contested trials in relation to industrial diseases most notably NIHL. He also has extensive experience of claims involving allegations of fraud. Simon was one of the tutors on the personal injury law module of the Legal Practice Course for Cardiff University. He has delivered seminars and given lectures on important legal topics within his field of expertise.
