Position

Richard specialises in Chancery, commercial and employment law work. His Chancery practice is split between land and wills, trusts and probate disputes. He advises and represents clients in all disputes over land, including TOLATA claims, and regularly appears in the specialist tribunals where these matters are often heard. His contentious probate caseload includes inheritance and family provision as well as Court of Protection matters. His commercial and business disputes work includes company law and insolvency, landlord and tenant and professional negligence. He heads the employment team at 9 Park Place, undertaking both claimant and respondent work, advising and representing clients across the spectrum of discrimination (including gender reassignment), TUPE and constructive unfair dismissal claims.
