Position

Jane’s principal area of practice is clinical negligence (claimants and defendants) She also represents healthcare professionals in disciplinary and regulatory cases, and she also does some personal injury work. Cases include McAllister v Lewisham & North Southwark HA and others [1994] 5 Med LR 343 (informed consent; Bolam Test; causation); Clarke v South Yorkshire Transport Ltd [1998] PIQR 104 CA (personal injury – quantum of damages multiple injuries); Ismail v Bexley HA: current law 1997: 2614 (personal injury – employer’s liability – contributory negligence).
