Career
Charles is head of Drummond Miller’s Private Client Team.
He specialises in providing advice on wills, powers of attorney, trusts, executries, Inheritance Tax mitigation, and succession planning.
Charles has particular experience in Adults with Incapacity matters including financial and welfare guardianships. He acts as financial guardian to many individuals and is a member of the Office of the Public Guardian’s Professional Guardians’ Scheme.
Often working closely with litigation solicitors, he provides post-settlement advice to clients who have received awards as a consequence of suffering personal injury including on the establishment of personal injury trusts.
Charles qualified in 2004, was promoted to Associate in 2007, and became a Partner in 2008. He is also a Notary Public and sits on the board of several charitable trusts.
Charles is a member of Drummond Miller’s Management Board.
