Career

David is the founder and head of Drummond Miller’s Immigration Department. He is both a member of the management board and current Chairman. His department has been awarded a band 1 accreditation in the Human Resources – Immigration Category of The Legal 500 United Kingdom, and David Brown is also a Band 1 recommended Lawyer.

He is a former winner of the Firm magazine’s law awards as Advocates’ Choice for Solicitor of the Year.

He has more than 20 years’ experience in the field and his practice covers all areas of Immigration, Nationality, Human Rights and EU Law.   He is a member of the Law Society’s Panel responsible for the accreditation of experts in the field of Immigration Law. He is also a member of the UNHCR’s Panel of Solicitors. He is regularly invited to speak at meetings on Immigration law. Most recently he spoke throughout Scotland on the EU settlement scheme at meetings organised by the Citizens Rights Project and backed by the EU commission in Scotland.
