Barrister practising in commercial litigation, international arbitration, public international law, administrative and constitutional law. Extensive appearances in court at all levels and in commercial/arbitration matters for and against the UK government and foreign governments. Youngest advocate to have appeared in the ICJ (1993 – counsel for Bosnia in the ‘genocide’ case).

Career

Called 1990, Middle Temple (Queen Mother’s Scholar); ‘A’ Panel Treasury Counsel 2003-06; taught commercial law at Cambridge University 1989-1993, public international law at King’s College London 1993-2002; visiting professor in commercial law at the University of London (SOAS) 2004.
