Position

Practice spans the whole range of commercial and chancery work, with a particular emphasis on litigation and arbitration. Particular focus on banking and financial services disputes (including litigation arising out of derivatives, swaps and other complex financial instruments), heavy contractual and business disputes (including fraud claims and cases with international elements), insolvency, company and partnership work, professional negligence, trusts and property matters.  Particular experience of dealing with applications for freezing injunctions.

Education

Merton College, Oxford University (2003 literae humaniores first class). Former Chapman Scholar of the Inner Temple, at Bar School was placed top in his year, winning the Scarman Scholarship and the Stephen Seabrooke Memorial Prize.
