Daniel specialises in most areas of chancery and commercial work both in England and in a number of off-shore jurisdictions (including Cayman, BVI, Guernsey, Jersey, and Isle of Man) . He has a particular interest in shareholder, partnership, and joint venture disputes, as well as property litigation, trust matters, and insolvency. Daniel is frequently involved in high value cross-border litigation, often raising complex issues of private international law and foreign law and appeared as junior counsel in two of the leading Privy Council cases on international trust disputes. He has significant experience of interlocutory applications, trials, and appeals (both as sole counsel and as part of a team) and, unusually for one of his call, he is admitted in the BVI where he has appeared both in the Commercial Court and in the Court of Appeal.
