Barrister specialising in all aspects of Intellectual Property law, including patents, SPCs, trade marks, passing off, copyright, designs, confidential information and contractual disputes involving intellectual property or technical subject matter.

Alice joined Chambers upon completion of her pupillage in September 2019. During pupillage, she was involved in matters before the High Court, IPEC, CJEU and UKIPO across the range of Chambers’ specialist areas.

A selection of cases observed/contributed to during pupillage: Allergan v Accord and Aspire (pharmaceutical patent, validity – obviousness); Conversant v Huawei (telecoms patents, essentiality, validity, infringement, FRAND); Dyson v SharkNinja (trade marks, comparative advertising, settled shortly before trial); Eli Lilly v MSD (pharmaceutical patent, validity – priority, novelty, obviousness, insufficiency, infringement, settled); Glaxo v Glenmark and Celon (trade marks, 3D shape, infringement, declarations of non-infringement); Glaxo v Sandoz and Vectura (colour, passing off – origin and equivalence); Novartis v Dr Reddy’s (pharmaceutical patent, interim injunction, added matter); Sky v Skykick (trade marks, clarity and precision of specification, intention to use, bad faith, CJEU preliminary reference).


2018 -2019: 12 month pupillage at Three New Square to Miles Copeland, Dominic Hughes, Jeremy Heald, Tom Hinchliffe QC and Stuart Baran
2018: Called to the Bar by the Inner Temple.
