Position

Specialist in advisory and litigation work in all aspects of intellectual property law, including patents, trade marks, passing off, designs (registered and unregistered), copyright and confidential information; media and entertainment. Recent cases include: Warner-Lambert v Actavis (Court of Appeal), Teva UK Limited v Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma, Magmatic v PMS International (Court of Appeal), Microsoft v Lycamobile, Coogan and Gray v NGN; Lucasfilms v Ainsworth (Supreme Court); HTC v Apple; Credit Suisse v Aviation Aircraft & Equipment Leasing (Court of Appeal); Temple Island v New English Teas.

Career

Called 2009; Inner Temple. Worked in the US law firm Mayer Brown for two years. Qualified to practise in New York. Co-author of ‘The Trade Mark Handbook’, ‘The CIPA Guide to the Patents Act’ and a contributor to ‘Copinger and Skone James on Copyright’. Appointed to the Treasury C Panel (2014).
