Position

Lucy was appointed as a recorder to the Wales Circuit in 2016.

Barrister specialising in regulatory, public and criminal law, Lucy’s practice has a particular emphasis on prosecution and defence of serious sexual offences involving both adults and children. Lucy is a Grade 4 prosecutor. Lucy was appointed to the Welsh Government Panel of approved advocates in 2009 and her appointment renewed in 2011, often appearing in cases regarding farming, fisheries and animal welfare. Lucy regularly is instructed by the Police Federation and has represented officers charged with a variety of offences in the Crown Court, as well as before misconduct and police tribunals. Lucy has acted in VAT fraud prosecutions and multi handed drug conspiracies. Lucy is a qualified and experience pupil supervisor.
