Barrister specialising in public law: judicial review; local government: vires, capital finance, Localism Act powers, public procurement, community care, political balance and monitoring officer issues, local authority and health body disputes, information law, including environmental information (advising and representing information commissioner and public authorities, acting in over 30 Information Tribunal appeals), data protection, and education (including academies, further and higher education). Represented 14 local authorities in the interest rate swap restitution litigation between local authorities and banks. Complex district auditor investigations and proceedings against local authorities, has acted for auditor and public body respectively.
