Tony Badenoch QC
Appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2014. Tony undertakes the full range of criminal work defending and prosecuting in equal measure. He has experience of a varied caseload. Tony has developed particular interests and expertise in international drug trafficking, large-scale drug supply networks, money laundering, confiscation proceedings, internet crime, banking frauds and firearms offences. More recently, he has developed a niche in cases of homicide, sexual offending and child cruelty, where medical evidence often features and to which he can bring particular specialist knowledge from his appointments with the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service and as an assistant coroner. Although based in London, Tony is always pleased to receive instructions to appear in major court centres around the country. Cases include: R v Terence Ford and others (conspiracy to cheat); R v Jenkins and others (conspiracy to supply drugs); R v Bermudez and others (conspiracy to defraud); R v Murray and others (conspiracy to assist in the retention of the benefit of criminal activity); and R v Campbell-Brown and others (murder trial).
